Reports To: Molding Team Leader/Molding Manager
Position Summary: The Die Setter is responsible for setting up and maintaining injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs mold changes. (Per schedule)
• Performs preventative maintenance on molding machines.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Performs 5S.
• Perform level 1 preventative maintenance on molding tools.
• Supports the comprehensive, continuous improvement philosophy for all Matikon disciplines.
• Performs the job functions in accordance with set policies and procedures to ensure the preservation of the Company Quality Policy.
• OTHER REASONABLE DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Preferred Education and Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 years of previous die setting experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and machine operation.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use various hand tools.
