Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is looking for a focused, data-driven individual to serve as the organization's Business intelligence Analyst. This position will support Credit Union business units and departments by providing reports, analysis, and comprehensive review of available data. This role requires familiarity with reporting and database tools and the ability to consider requests from stakeholders and determine the required output. A Day in the Life at MCCU
As MCCU's Business Intelligence Analyst you'll collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources to identify trends and patterns. You'll create comprehensive reporting and visually appealing dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand what information is needed and then translate that into BI solutions. You'll present your findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
You'll also:
- Analyze operational, financial, and member behavior data to support business strategy.
- Monitor data integrity and ensure data quality across systems.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track organizational goals.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable way.
- Support data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NCUA, CFPB).
What You'll Need:
? High school diploma or equivalent
? 2 - 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field (financial services experience preferred).
? Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker), SQL, and Excel.
? Experience working with core banking systems or credit union-specific software (e.g., Symitar, Fiserv, Correlation) is a plus.
? Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (with additional compensation available!)
? Excellent communication and storytelling skills - ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
