JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for working with customers to formulate quotes for commercial and industrial finishing projects. The successful individual would also supervise Union employees during the completion of the projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform blueprint takeoffs
- Estimate job costs and draft proposals
- Ensure customer expectations are met
- Provide support to crews working on the projects
- Help set and meet project goals
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Always ensure safety and environmental policies are followed
SKILLS
- College degree in Construction or Engineering (BS preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and scheduling skills
- Willingness to travel the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
- Availability for On-Call work (nights and weekends in rotation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have a valid driver’s license and pass drug screen / background check
