Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for fabricating and installing ductwork for heating and cooling systems in new builds and renovation projects within the commercial sector. This role requires hands-on work including bending, joining, hammering, and cutting sheet metal. The ideal candidate will create and install ductwork on site according to construction documents, and must be able to drive to job sites within a 40-mile radius of Grand Rapids.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and install HVAC ductwork according to construction documents
Bend, join, hammer, and cut sheet metal to create ductwork
Work from blueprints to ensure accurate installations
Measure and cut duct to precise specifications
Transport to various job sites up to 40 miles from Grand Rapids
Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of service HVAC systems and controls
Proficient sheet metal installation and ductwork fabrication
Experience troubleshooting problems on existing equipment
Reliable transportation to travel to various project sites in West Michigan
3+ years of commercial HVAC experience

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift, typically starting between 6/7am and ending between 3/4pm, with shifts ranging from 9-10 hours depending on project needs. Projects are construction-based and located in areas such as Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids. You will work alongside other trades and team members in a collaborative environment, often around ongoing production activities. The team typically consists of 2-10 partners working together to meet daily objectives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
