Job Title: Designer / Drafter (Microstation)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented design technician to join our team immediately. This role involves creating detailed MicroStation drawings for civil construction projects related to natural gas infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with engineering staff and a thorough understanding of construction drawing packages, civil site design, foundation design, and structural design.
Responsibilities
Develop MicroStation drawings used to complete civil construction of natural gas infrastructure projects.
Create standard detail drawings in MicroStation.
Conduct analysis of external/third-party designs using internal tools and ensure each design follows the required specifications.
Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Essential Skills
Experience in drafting construction drawings with a focus on clear and precise designs.
Proficiency in MicroStation and Bentley products such as Open Plant and ProjectWise.
Strong understanding of civil construction, site development, and underground utility projects.

Work Environment
The candidate has the opportunity to work on site for three days a week and then work remotely the other two days. Our client is a major utility provider, investing significantly in addressing energy issues and renewable energy sources over the next five years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $40.00/hr.
