SAP eCommerce Cloud Developer. (Farmington, MI, or other unanticipated locations throughout U.S.). Develop and design the new item types and extended existing item types as per application requirements. Develop APIs to retrieve data present in the database; Develop APIs to insert/edit/update data into the database. Integrate the API into the system seamlessly; Process and map the raw data according to the design and requirements of the API. Develop and Implement authentication and authorization of a user; Gather the requirements and understand the high-level architecture of the services required to be developed; Gather and analyze requirements, design solutions to meet defined specifications, and develop and maintain software and solutions based on defined specifications. Participate in various technology projects and will lead project workstreams as required. Document the requirements to ensure the application is being developed as expected. Develop and deliver APIs for the application. Coordinate with the front-end team to integrate the APIs developed. Implement solutions for integration of the frontend and backend of the application. Make changes accordingly to accommodate the front-end team’s requirements; Perform unit & integration Testing APIs; Perform unit testing for each API. Set up the testing framework using testing suites and mock the different layers. Perform integration testing with all the APIs integrated. Perform system and acceptance testing with various test cases and validate the Input/Output. Docker and deploy application. Deploy the application in SAP ecommerce Cloud. Prepare reports and provide timely project updates to the Manager; Create Weekly status reports of the project. Create weekly reports of Minutes of Meeting. Maintain source code versioning using GIT. Extensively use Git as version control for the services. Create & monitor the branches in different repositories for various services. Supervise activities of one Software Developer. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or closely related field + 2 years of experience as a Developer or any related position in information technology. Must have two years of experience in SAP eCommerce Cloud, OCC webservices, Java/J2EE, Microservices, Rest API, Spring, Agile Scrum.
