Manager, Insurance Enterprise Architect, PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, Detroit, MI. Develop, test, and improve new apps for traditional and mobile devices. Build secure and new digital experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers. Conduct usability testing to find ways to improve clients’ user experience. Design Financial Services Insurance domain architecture engagements aligned to a client’s business strategy, including developing business and technology solution models and translating end-state business and technology models into system architecture blueprints. Help clients harness technology systems in financial services focusing on areas such as insurance, sales performance management, retirement and pension, asset management, and banking & capital markets. Coach and supervise teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $162,000 - $187,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Defining and documenting strategy and enabling I.T. capabilities and necessary iterations;
- Working with insurance technologies and associated softwares, such as DXC, Verisk FAST, Sapiens, SwissRe Magnum, FACATS, CAPSIL, ALIP, Reinsurance TAI, FIS, or Symcor;
- Managing workstreams on the insurance life cycle, such as policy admin, claims, billing, compensation, new business, underwriting, tax, accounting, statements, accounting, licensing and compliance; and
- Working with cloud-based data and analytics native PaaS components in Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% is required.
