1. Possess a high school diploma or certificate of completion of the General Education Development (GED) test; AND have three (3) years of experience in providing supports and/or services to persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities or substance use disorders;
OR
Possess a bachelor’s degree in human services field, such as, psychology, social work, human services, etc.
2. Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
3. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required
1. Some post high-school education is preferred, but not required.
2. Bilingual candidates highly desired.
3. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
4. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
