Description
We are looking for a motivated and skilled part-time recruiter (25-30 hours per week) to join our team on a part-time basis in Flint, Michigan. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in attracting and recruiting top talent for our organization. The role provides a flexible HYBRID work schedule (1-2 days per week in office) for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Identify and attract potential candidates through various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social networks, and referrals.
Review and evaluate applications to match qualifications with job requirements.
Conduct initial interviews and assessments to determine candidates' suitability for open positions.
Present shortlisted candidates to HR Business Partners, ensuring detailed feedback is provided.
Coordinate offer negotiations and manage the approval process within organizational guidelines.
Oversee pre-employment compliance checks, including background verifications, reference checks, and credential validations.
Arrange pre-employment screenings such as drug tests and physical evaluations as needed.
Represent the organization at career fairs and community hiring events to enhance recruitment efforts and brand visibility.
Collaborate on recruitment marketing initiatives to broaden candidate outreach and engagement.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of pre-employment background checks and compliance processes.
Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews and evaluate candidates effectively.
Familiarity with onboarding processes and recruitment marketing strategies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience participating in career fairs and hiring events.
