Direct care workers support clients in their homes by performing a variety of tasks as indicated in client care plans. Aides communicate regularly with the In-Home Director, helping ICCOA to respond to changing client needs, and working to provide excellent care and service Regular trainings help to grow and aide's skill set and advance agency goals. On-site work involves supporting clients outside the home, such as at ICCOA's Memory Cafe.
Several Part-time and Two Full-time positions are available. $15.47-$17.35/hr, depending on experience with a Direct Care Worker Premium through 2025. County benefits package for full-time positions.
Tasks may include a variety of activities such as:
Housekeeping: cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, vacuuming, laundry.
Respite Care: relieve Caregivers in the home with a range of tasks.
Personal Care: bathing/showering, hair care, skin care, dressing, transferring and toileting.
On site work may include leading activities for clients with memory issues and their caregivers along with other support.
Aides are responsible for completing and submitting record of service sheets, mileage reimbursement forms and client receipts.
