About the Role
- Clinical care in Level III NICU (35 beds) and Special Care Nursery (12 beds)
- Lead efforts in clinical oversight, QI, and education
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols
- Coordinate with nursing leadership and Mott faculty to align care models
- Serve as liaison with C.S. Mott Children's Hospital for shared care initiatives
- Oversee faculty development, onboarding, and NICU operations
- Optional clinical service in Ann Arbor based on interests
Academic Affiliation
Includes a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan, with rank based on experience. Participation in teaching, quality improvement, and statewide collaboration is expected.
Ideal Candidates
- Board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Prior experience in NICU leadership or clinical administration preferred
- Strong interest in QI, systems-based practice, and team development
- Additional training in healthcare administration, leadership, QI, or Med Ed a plus
