Summary:
As a Spare Parts Clerk, you will be operating the assigned process/equipment in accordance with the work instructions. You will help support production volumes and quality under the production plan while using equipment and computerized systems to produce, assemble, evaluate, process and package lithium-ion batteries in a climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
Replenish orders and ensure availability of needed parts completely and timely for daily production operations
Communicate with vendors
Assist internal customers to identify correct parts for individual jobs
Take internal customers' orders for parts and fill them as fast as possible
Receive all incoming goods, verifying quantities received against quantities shipped on packing slips and quantities ordered on electronic approvals; and notify internal customer
Maintain inventory on all incoming, current, and new parts and inputting them into the Spare Parts List
Maintain an orderly and clean Spare Parts Room with parts stored in proper locations for easy access
Conduct periodic physical and electronic inventory of all spare parts
Maintain updated supplier/vendor account and database details
Become familiar with production processes, equipment, and spare parts to assist internal customers efficiently
Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for managing spare parts
Ensure work is completed in a safe manner & maintain a safe working environment
Follow established work instructions
Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE
Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of related experience is preferred

Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours
