Takata, CASA, & DIRRP manager operating within the Service Engineering & Operations (SE&O) Recall Service Planning organization. Looking for an experienced and highly motivated People Leader and Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex/high-impact projects.
Projects include leading a Takata team that supports the Recall Service Planning department in achieving a 100% Takata airbag recall completion rate, as mandated by federal regulators, leading the CASA team that carries out court ordered settlement agreements, and effectively managing the Dealer Incomplete Recall Repair Process.
This is a hybrid role that will require you to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Allen Park, MI
What you'll do...
This position will be responsible for driving a highly skilled team to meet their deliverables as well as working with the cross functional teams, technical leads, suppliers, and managers across the broader organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automotive technology, supplier management, strategy/planning, dealership operations, excellent project management skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Lead/Support cross functional group efforts to drive Takata recall complete rates
Lead/Support the CASA settlement administration key actions
Review allegations of incomplete recall repairs and action via audit if necessary
Review and process technician suspension and probation inquiries
Participate in cross-OEM working groups, benchmarking, and incorporate best practices into existing processes
Collaborate with Global Data Insight Analytics (GDIA) to establish closed-loop analytics that measure results, and use that data to improve outreach tools
Work with Field Operations to execute new initiatives and processes for dealerships
Support Recall Service Planning Field Service Actions, including dealer communications, repair instructions, claiming instructions, and coordination with PS&L
Continuously develop and execute dynamic business plan strategies while managing multiple purchase orders
Manage existing partnerships with suppliers involved with outreach programs, and look for new partnership opportunities
Communicate outreach initiatives, completion rates, and new strategies with NHTSA and senior leadership
Support GWO Warranty Audit & Warranty Assistance Teams with recall repair guidance
You'll have...
Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or similar discipline
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple dynamic priorities
Analytical abilities to collect, organize and interpret data to help drive decisions and execute projects
Experience leading highly skill teams to drive results against key objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to self-manage, be a team player and demonstrate initiative
Proven skills to liaise effectively between teams and vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to manage shifting priorities
Ability to work in white space and create new processes

Experience and confidence in delivering presentations to diverse audiences a plus
Dealership and automotive service repair experience preferred
Experience with MMP, GSAR/AWS, and/or Business Objects a plus
