Job Description
We are currently seeking two (2) Local Michigan-Licensed Journeyman Electricians with 3+ years of conveyor installation experience at Amazon, FedEx, UPS, or a similar facility and a minimum of an OSHA 10 Certification to support a conveyor installation for a
This is for a short-term 5 week long project beginning May 5, 2025. Schedule will be 55 hours per week M-F 7am to 5:30pm and Saturday 7am to 12pm. No overnight or Sunday work required.
Job Responsibilities Electrical Journeyman
- Demonstrating technical aptitude in installing power supply wiring and conduit, including EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable trays.
- Conducting troubleshooting of electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, and conveyor systems.
- Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits using devices like volt/ohm meters to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or compliance issues with codes.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct breakdown causes.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
