Job Summary:
Level I Press Operators are responsible for assisting Level II, III & IV Press Operators with the production of a quality product, increasing efficiency during set-up and change-over.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle the delivery and return of dies, print cylinders & inks.
Mount plates for flexographic presses, staging two or more jobs in advance.
Mix inks needed for upcoming jobs.
Complete press double-checks as needed.
Keep presses running during breaks.
Be agile, moving to where the work is if necessary and as directed by the Production Supervisor.
Keep production area clean, neat, and organized.
Work with pre-production individuals as a team, and with respect.
Effectively and efficiently manage time.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
Press Operators must be able to pass a test for color vision deficiency.
Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be 18 years of age or older
