We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
The NAVIGATE Program is an evidence-based Coordinated Specialty Care model that serves adolescents and young adults who are within 18 months of experiencing the onset of psychosis.
We are seeking a Family Peer Partner to help support participants experiencing early psychosis and their natural supports and provides supportive contacts with families, normalizes their experience, and empowers families to be actively involved with participants while also setting healthy boundaries. The Family Peer Partner serves as a role model and advocate in the areas of self-care/wellness, family impacts of mental health crisis, communication, self-advocacy and empowerment, daily activities, education, and employment utilizing a shared decision-making approach while maintaining a youth-friendly, person-centered, recovery-focused, and strengths-based service delivery model.
This is a part-time position, 28 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. However, some evenings may be needed to accommodate individuals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
**High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
**Relevant lived experience of supporting a youth family member experiencing psychosis
**Willingness to disclose lived experiences (where appropriate) for the purposes of empowerment, cultivating wellness and growth of participants and their natural supports
**Has developed some mastery and wellness related to their own experience of supporting a loved one during a mental health experience
**Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
**Familiarity with community resources, mental health service delivery system or willingness to pursue training/information as directed
**Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and data entry skills
**Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Well-developed public speaking skills
