As aUtility Operatoryou will be assisting as necessary in preparing and expanding to meet specifications: die punching, slotting, and assisting with packing orders for shipment. Duties may include operating a saw, press, oven or assisting in numerous manual functions to prepare orders for packing and shipment.

Metals Utility:Starting at $19.58 per hour on 1stShift!
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble proper material for job
Die punch when necessary
Drill core when necessary
Glue core when necessary
Expand core whennecessary
Slot core when necessary
Prepare the material to meet work order specifications
Cut materials to specified sizes
Stage material for machine operator.
Assist machine operator as needed.
Trim and clean material
Measure end product for accuracy
Assist with packing orders
Prepare container for shipping
Fill out related paperwork
Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful
Participate in improving our product, process, equipment, and methods.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Continually looking for ways to improve job efficiency and performance
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail
Mechanically inclined
Ability to work overtime
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
