We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of materials from external warehouses to production. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across operations and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records
Coordinate material movements from external warehouses to support production schedules
Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX, WMS) to manage inventory transactions
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; document and communicate findings, including root cause and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
Support warehouse and production teams with real-time inventory data
Maintain detailed and accurate data entry and tracking for inventory records
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory processes
Occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds as needed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Hands-on experience in inventory management
Experience using ERP systems, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar platforms
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in both warehouse and production floor environments
Preferred:
2+ years of inventory control experience
Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
Experience with inventory investigations and problem-solving
Background in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the food industry
