As the Physical Therapy HEART Coordinator, this role will supervise Physical Therapy students at the pro-bono PT clinic HEART located at the Insight Institute Flint..
This position will report to the Associate Director for Community Engagement. This position will be part-time with the expectation of up to 8 hours per week, a seasonal appointment (9 months). This is a 20% effort position at a salary range of $16,200 to $20,240.
- Supervise student provision of pro-bono PT services, including the provision of physical therapy services and documentation
- Oversee the student pro-bono board of directors and activities such as: clinician recruitment, orientation and retention; student recruitment, orientation, and retention
- Oversee social media content from HEART
- Operational activities including ordering supplies, maintenance of equipment
- Annual reporting of HEART data
- Community engagement
- Facilitate and assist in community health screening events
- Assist in creating documents, tables, presentations regarding the pro-bono clinical data
- Participate in meetings with HEART community advisory committee
- 1 or more years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient setting
- Licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Michigan
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a relevant field
- Contemporary Clinical expertise
