Job Summary:
Belson Asphalt Paving is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our paving and construction crew. As a General Laborer, you will assist in various manual tasks essential to the preparation, installation, and finishing of asphalt paving projects. Serving So. MI, NW OH & NE IN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing job sites, including removing debris, loading/unloading materials, and setting up equipment.
- Operate small tools and equipment (e.g., shovels, rakes, compactors).
- Support paving crew with tasks related to asphalt installation, compaction, and finishing.
- Follow safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
