The Billing Specialist provides billing support for Highfields' Community Services programs including formulating and initiating monthly billings, monitoring and tracking accounts receivables, maintaining service authorizations, and interfacing with both internal and external customers.
This is a part time position working 24 to 30 hours per week. The hours are flexible.
The Community Services programs provide a safety net for mid-Michigan families working through tough times. Our counselors help clients to better understand the struggles they face and learn the skills they need to overcome them,
Minimum Qualification
- High School Diploma (preference given to candidate holding a two-year business degree or equivalent)
- Three years related experience
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with current version of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Teams, and data collection software
- Proficient in editing, writing, grammar, and punctuation
- Excellent communication and listening skills
