Job Summary
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Group Practice Director for Specialty Practices. This leader will develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies related to operations for 10 different physician practices. The practices include Bariatrics, General Surgery, Ear Nose and Throat, Pain Management and a Maxillofacial Clinic.
Responsibilities
Develop goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the Henry Ford Health.
Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
Oversee the Medical Assistant assessment program.
Prepare practices for Joint Commission visits.
Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Education/Experience
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to pivot quickly within a fast-paced environment. This leader will need to have a presence at the various clinics across the Metro Detroit area.
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required with 2 of those years being in leadership/management or Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
