Your responsibilities
Job Summary
The applications engineer oversees the management of business specific applications and production systems. Business specific applications may include both custom applications and/or COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) software. Production systems may include devices such as components of hand-held scan guns as well as shop-floor systems.

Key Accountabilities:
Provides on-call support and analysis for incident management using appropriate techniques
Adheres to Standard Guidelines and Operating Procedures
Works independently with limited supervision
Knowledgeable of COTS best practices and IT Infrastructure
Develops or maintains business-specific application configurations
Confers with management and users for design requirements
Communicates technical and non-technical material effectively
Collecting and documenting business requirements
Understands and improves business processes
Analyzes problems and creates workflow diagrams
Evaluates and modifies existing systems upon request
Tests and implements completed configurations
Continuously improves operations and work processes
Performs other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Science or Engineering from four-year College or university
Five years related technical experience and/or training
35% travel based on operational demands and implementation's

Compensation up to $120,000 based on experience and bonus opportunity.
