About the role:
The Director/Compliance ensures the product, services, policies and procedures of the Credit Union comply with appropriate laws and regulations. The Director/Compliance is responsible for the credit unions compliance program, vendor management program, business continuity program and record retention.
This position has a starting annual rate of $103,100, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills.
A Day in the life of a Director/Compliance can look like:
Review, assess, develop, revise, and ensure the adequacy of programs, policies, procedures and forms designed to safeguard the Credit Union and maintain regulatory compliance.
Serve as Compliance Officer for the credit union.
Ensure policies and procedures are appropriately disseminated.
Ensure all disclosures and agreements are kept up to date.
Develop, direct, and implement a compliance program and schedule to review internal credit union areas for compliance.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
6-8 years of related experience within the field of compliance or regulation.
Minimum 4 years of leadership experience.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
You might also have:
Law degree with a concentration in Business Law.
Compliance or Risk Management Certification.
