Job Description: Home Equity Processor
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
We are seeking dedicated Home Equity Processors to join our Lending Team on a contract basis until the end of the year, with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Manage 25 to 30 files per person (once fully trained)
Process home equity loans from start to finish
Review income information (e.g., pay stubs)
Order appraisals if needed
Order flood certification
Gather payoff information
Review mortgagee clause
Prepare files for closing and send to underwriting
Arrange closings
Must Have:
1 to 2 years of full-cycle mortgage or home equity processing experience (underwriters are overqualified; closers and originators are underqualified)
Willingness to learn, as the processing experience is still very manual
High member contact; must be willing to communicate with members throughout the process
Team-oriented approach; must be willing to help each other out to decrease the pipeline

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
