Description
Dilusso Building Company is looking for a Leasing Agent to come in and assist property owners in finding suitable tenants for their residential or commercial properties. Will handle all aspects of leasing, from advertising and showing properties to finalizing lease agreements and providing excellent customer service to existing tenants. This includes managing tenant relations, administrative tasks, working with prospective new tenants, paying bills each week, entering information into their system, etc.
Note: Dilusso building main office is located in Rochester, MI, but this position will sit in office at 15 + Hayes (Clinton Township)
Key Responsibilities:
Meet Prospective Tenants: Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about available units.
Screen Applicants: Perform BG checks, credit checks, and verify references to ensure tenant suitability.
Prepare Leasing Documents: Draft and finalize lease agreements in accordance with property standards and regulations.
Collect Payments: Handle the collection of rent payments, security deposits, and application fees.
Maintain Tenant Relations: Build rapport with current tenants, address their concerns, and keep them informed of any changes to rental agreements or property issues.
Advertise Properties: Use various platforms to market available properties and attract potential renters.
Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations to ensure all leasing activities are compliant.
Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all rental activities, including applications, lease agreements, and payment histories.

Knowledge of Real Estate Laws: Understanding of relevant real estate laws and regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must haves:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Leasing Agent/Leasing Coordinator/Leasing Consultant/Assistant Property Management role

Data entry/Maintain records
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to haves:
Previous experience in property management, or related field

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
