Job Title: Flexographic Print Press Operator
Location: [Grand Blanc, Mi]
Schedule: C Shift - Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Hours Paid: 36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We're looking for a reliable, detail-driven Flexographic Print Press Operator to join our production team on C Shift . In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating flexographic presses, monitoring quality, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate flexographic printing presses in accordance with all safety protocols
Maintain a clean, organized press area and manage materials efficiently
Set up jobs according to specs and retain samples for quality tracking
Collaborate with finishing operators to ensure zero-defect product output
Identify and report nonconforming products to quality team and document as needed
Clean and maintain tooling and press components per guidelines
Prepare materials and plan jobs ahead of time to reduce downtime
Complete all required job paperwork, time tracking, and material usage logs
Perform routine maintenance and assist in equipment reliability
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience with flexographic printing equipment strongly preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills (especially linear measurement)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving print quality issues
Self-starter with excellent organization and communication skills
Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced production setting
High school diploma or GED required

Contributions to continuous improvement projects
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
