At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and achieving production goals. In this role, you will be working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment that requires you to wear personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear plugs, hair net, and protective gowning. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products.
Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Operate packaging machines.
Box and apply labeling materials.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
