Our Financial client is seeking a temporary Digital Content Manager to cover for a maternity leave. This role is hybrid onsite (2 days a week) in Plymouth, MI and will start in early May through the end of September working 40 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update website's content through a Content Management System, including adding new information, editing existing content, managing images, ensuring accuracy, and optimizing the site's structure within the CMS platform to keep the website current and accessible to users.
- Content creation and editing: Writing, revising, and updating website content such as articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages within the CMS interface.
- Image management: Uploading, resizing, and optimizing images for the website within the CMS.
- Page layout and design: Utilizing CMS templates and features to design and arrange website pages according to brand guidelines.
- Metadata management: Adding relevant keywords and descriptions (meta tags) to optimize website search engine ranking.
- Content publishing and scheduling: Publishing new content and scheduling future updates to be released at specific times.
- Quality assurance: Proofreading content for accuracy and consistency before publishing.
- Analytics monitoring: Tracking website traffic and user behavior through CMS analytics tools to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- 2-5 Years experience with CMS tools.
- Familiarity with CMS tools such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, or Sanity.io.
- Must have a portfolio of content you have published or developed.
- Creativity to identify opportunities and try new things.
- Good communication skills.
- Clearly communicate any requirements, challenges, suggestions and demonstrate a good understanding of objectives and workflow.
- Certifications relevant to using CMS tools.
