The work:
A Senior Manager in Transportation Strategy helps companies design and implement innovative, scalable logistics solutions that optimize transportation performance across modes, cost, and service levels. This includes work across transportation procurement, network design, fleet management, and digital enablement.
Partner with C-suite and senior executives to shape transportation strategies that align with broader supply chain goals and deliver measurable business impact
Address enterprise-wide logistics challenges-such as changing transportation costs, capacity constraints, and modal trade-offs-through data-driven, actionable strategies
Lead projects focused on transportation network optimization, including mode selection (LTL, FTL, intermodal, parcel, ocean, air), route design, and service level analysis
Develop cost-to-serve models and performance management frameworks to guide procurement and / or fleet strategy for carrier sourcing - including private vs. dedicated vs. for-hire options, across inbound, outbound, and last-mile networks
Leverage advanced analytics and digital technology to improve visibility, performance tracking, and exception management
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among experts in logistics, analytics, procurement, and operations
Contribute to business development, including proposal development and thought leadership on emerging trends
Challenge conventional thinking and help clients adopt innovative transportation technologies and digital solutions to fuel growth
Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live by designing logistics strategies that enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability

You've got serious data and analytical chops when it comes to optimizing transportation networks
You can spot where to find new value in logistics and transportation, and explain it simply
You have demonstrated ability to create and articulate value propositions to the C-suite and senior executives
You've worked on strategic cost takeout projects
You know your way around transportation master data, transportation management systems (TMS), and network optimization principles
You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs and demonstrating leadership
You've earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Lean or Six Sigma qualifications
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
