Description Overview To provide compliant and efficient systems. Create processes that ensure accurate instruction is available at all PMI sites and other sites when applicable (multi-site), and to develop and maintain compliant and efficient processes to ensure executed documents, raw material retain samples, and finished goods reserve samples are maintained, inspected, and destroyed according to regulations. Drives technical writer program to keep periodic reviews compliant and support business with writing needs. Support other sites as needed. Scope of the Role Responding to daily questions regarding OpenText and help initiators where they have a roadblock, performing initial investigations into issues found during reserve/retain inspections or documentation issues, working with Operations to ensure no uncontrolled GMP documentation exists in the plants, and work with those subject to audits to get acceptable CAPA identified for findings. Process Improvements for QA Services departments, including the formal change control process. Creation and adherence to department budget. Escalation of overdue documentation to management. Hiring/firing of temporary personnel. Provide OpenText guidance to business. Manages the document change control process and getting Periodic Reviews done. Creates metrics. Review & approve procedures. Provide guidance to the Quality Services Technical Writing team. Oversee the reserve/retain sample management program, including approval of APR/other inspection paperwork, and creation of quality event notifications. Oversee the document storage team and help determine electronic storage where most applicable. Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or closely aligned field, with eight or more years of pharmaceutical Quality or production management experience, including at least three years of supervisory experience. Must strongly grasp and have the ability to apply cGMP standards and requirements in an FDA regulated industry. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization is necessary, including strong oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
