We're seeking a passionate and strategic Automotive Account Manager to build strong client relationships, grow key accounts, and shape the future of mobility through cutting-edge materials.
What You'll Do:
Own the relationship: Manage and grow accounts with Tier 1 & Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
Drive results: Develop revenue strategies, set sales targets, and deliver compelling proposals.
Provide solutions: Partner with our technical teams to offer innovative, tailored product recommendations.
Expand your network: Attend industry events and actively scout new business opportunities.
Keep it sharp: Document your activities in CRM (Salesforce), report on pipeline progress, and share insights on market trends and competitors.
What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in automotive chemical/plastics sales or technical roles.
Proven success managing complex sales cycles in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive supply chain.
Strong knowledge of plastics, polymers, or chemical products and their applications.
Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce a plus) and Microsoft Office.
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related); MBA or MS is a plus.
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to influence globally dispersed teams.
Why Join MCG?
Competitive salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
