Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for a motivated, team-building individual to fill a full time
Accounting Manager position.
This position provides a flexible work schedule and promotes a strong work-life balance.
Annual Salary: $70,000
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Supervises the Acct. Clerk I, Acct. Clerk II, and POS Auditor.
Support CFO and Staff Accountant with month-end close process.
Logs journal entries of other than routine income or expense activity.
Fills in as a backup for the bi-weekly payroll process when needed.
Fills in as a backup for backup for the weekly accounts payable check process.
Conducts monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
Monitors receivables to ensure timely collections.
Conducts weekly review of checks for accuracy and proper general ledger account coding.
Evaluate internal controls at the store and business office to ensure accurate financial results and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Three years of accounting experience or equivalent
Two years supervisory experience of multiple staff
Working knowledge of Excel
Valid driver's license
