HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JRD414SG).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards for Salesforce applications. Involved in requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training. Develop and maintain the applications using Salesforce.com. Identify the client's requirements by detailed discussions / meetings with client, functional users, functional / technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within the existing system. Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client’s requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by development team. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team. Provide innovative solutions to complex system problems. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Develop web applications using Apex and custom LWC. Participate in data model design and solution design using Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and integrate the system with Salesforce. Implement Apex test classes to test the functionality and maintain the code coverage. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness and ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues. Maintain a log of all change requests. Use of Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language), SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language), and JavaScript.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Consultant, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL. 40hrs/week.
