Gooding Solutions has immediate openings for experienced applicants who have knowledge and skills with both service repairs and installations of loading dock equipment and commercial garage doors. Task for the position requires traveling throughout the West Michigan area. Provide a professional experience for the valued customers of Gooding Solutions. Applicants must have knowledge on how to repair sectional doors, installation of sectional doors, installation of rolling steel doors and fire doors. Knowledge on how on to repair and install dock levelers, dock restraints, seals and enclosures, and other facility equipment. Applicant should know how to weld and use a torch. Good customer service skills are required. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in all environments, at heights, off ladders and out of lift, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. A clean driving record is required. There will be times you will need to work in very cold conditions. Applicants will need to be able to wear a hard hat, steel toe shoes at all times, safety glasses while performing task, and tight fitting/ restrictive protective clothing.
Required Experience:
Must Have 3 plus years
Experience installing and repairing commercial sectional doors, coiling doors, and high speed doors and repair and install dock levelers, dock restraints, seals and enclosures. This position requires experience welding and working with torches. The ability to handle control wiring, read a schematic, operate a fork lift, operate a scissor lift, pass safety training. OSHA 10 and 30 is a plus.
