Do you have experience supervising people? Do you have hands-on care giving experience? We have a full time opportunity at our Muskegon Persons With Disabilities Men's Group Home. The residents of our home are wonderful! They love to go on outings and get out and about. You'll gain an instant second family with the men who live in our Group Home. The Manager we seek provides overall leadership and managerial responsibility for this residential program under the supervision of our Program Manager, including managing in-home daily operations and assuring program implementation for individuals in the home. This position has an annual salary of $45,000

Provides overall leadership and managerial responsibility for residential program under the supervision of the director, including managing in-home daily operations and assuring program implementation for individuals in the home.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for meeting annual financial, service, quality, people and growth targets for assigned programs
In coordination with contract requirements and Division Policies and procedures; maintain current knowledge of, develop, implement and evaluate written operational guidelines for the daily administration and management of Center's physical site, programs, activities and services
Participate in the development of new programs/services consistent with the goals of the division and the mission
Provide and assure staff supervision including orientation/training, delegation of responsibility, authority and accountability, and performance evaluation
Investigate complaints, violations and disturbances; resolve complaints in accordance with established procedures and under the direction of the Regional Director
Act as liaison between recipients, families and responsible parties
Develop, implement and monitor annual operating budget within organization fiscal guidelines; assure adherence to Corporate Financial Policies and procedures
Assume primary responsibility for contractual/governmental relationships
Work with appropriate professional associations/groups, governmental/social service agencies, and community councils, to meet service objectives, and to interpret the work of the division and represent the organization
Transport individuals and drive agency vehicle as needed; assure basic cleanliness and care of vehicle
Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent with two years' relevant experience required
Associate's degree preferred
Experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of human service delivery systems
Ability and willingness to display compassion and empathy towards vulnerable adults
Must be able to function independently with minimal direct supervision
Ability to work effectively with residents, staff, community and governmental agencies and general public
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to read, speak and write English; prepares business letters, summaries and reports using prescribed format and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style
Ability to effectively utilize computer software including word processing and spreadsheet programs
Ability to read, understand and analyze basic financial reports and budgets
Additional Work Requirements
Extended hours including evenings and weekends required
On-call responsibililty for assigned area required
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Proof of valid automobile insurance if required by program/center
