Responsible for providing support in design verification and testing for a mixture of current and future vehicle architecture software; conduct testing activities in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Bench, and Vehicle testing environments; perform unit testing in Ceedling or Simulink Test; ensure acceptance criteria and minimum code coverage metrics are met; utilize Python, CAPL, product development, Vector CANoe, Vector CANalyzer, PTC Integrity, IBM DOORs, ISO 14229, ISO 26262, J1979, and bench & vehicle level testing to perform duties; execute tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders; provide test case results based on appropriate tool including Jira, Ceedling, and ECU-Test; collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues; and generate automated test cases, where applicable.
Location: Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;
Salary: $104,832 per year;
Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Research Assistant, as a Systems Test Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years’ use of all the following: Python, CAPL, product development, Vector CANoe, Vector CANalyzer, PTC Integrity, IBM DOORs, ISO 14229, ISO 26262, J1979, and bench & vehicle level testing.
