This position will have experience in layout design, as well as a strong understanding of visual, typography and color theory. They will be responsible for creating layouts for primarily digital products and potentially printed products to ensure that all publications are high production value and visually on brand.
Salary & Benefits: Minimum starting salary of $44,000, commensurate with experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES
• Design and implement layouts for UComm digital publications (GVNext, FORUM, other.)
• Design and implement layouts for GV Magazine.
• Design and implement layouts for GV website.
• Design and edit email campaigns and communications.
• Design Social Media graphics. Graphic design support for Creative and Social teams.
• Organize and create presentations.
• Integrate photos, video and written content into compelling digital packaging.
• Performs other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Plan and manage the flow of production schedules, some with quick turnaround.
• Web design, including the ability to use content management systems.
• Computer proficient with experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and page layout software and applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and calendars simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate with others regularly.
• Ability to transport self to off-campus locations.
• Email design.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Graphic Design, Art, Photography, or similar.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Two or more (2+) years of experience in design.
• Previous photograhy experience
