Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are looking to hire General Laborers to join our production team until the docks close in November. This role involves working with our team to handle, load, and transport various concrete mix materials. If you are comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
Load bags of sand, slag, and other base concrete mix material into loaders to feed into tanker trucks.
Move pallets on and off trucks, and stack pallets of finished products.
Shovel sand, slag, and other concrete mix.
Clean the work area.
Break up rocks.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively through an 8-hour shift.
Experience in outdoor labor and comfort working in all weather conditions.
Ability to bend, twist, and squat for the entire duration of the shift.
Ability to wear a respirator for the duration of the shift when needed.
Punctuality and reliability.
Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, construction, concrete, packaging, loading, production, and machine operation.
Candidates from refrigerated or freezer environments will also be considered.

Work Environment
You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The shifts are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday) and afternoons from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Overtime may be required depending on site activity. You will have a half-hour lunch break and small breaks throughout the shift. The company will provide respirators and coveralls. You should dress for the weather with beanies, gloves, and sweatshirts. Work boots are required but do not need to be steel-toed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
