Job Description
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and applying all HR policies and company guidelines. You will provide daily support to the HR and leadership team while you learn and grow in the role. This position has administrative tasks as well as entry level strategy aspects. The focus for this role will be heavily involved in creating the "employee experience". There will also be a large focus to create and refine special HR projects or initiatives.
Job Duties:
Ownership of New Hire Orientation and employee experience
Recruiting Efforts: Work with HR and leadership to formulate a staffing strategy plan including:
Job Postings
Job Fairs (internal and external)
Sourcing and screening candidates
Extending offers, BGC, DT, and physicals
Employee file audits, and retention schedule and legal compliance
Create and conduct employee information sessions, focus group meetings & exit interviews
Participate in HR-4 audit and refining processes for simplification
Update monthly performance and merit review documents
Payroll, FMLA, medical benefits and perks
Other duties as assigned by your manager
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high attention to detail, the ability to work in ambiguous situations and requires little direction to get things done. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required, experience with Workday or HRIS necessary. Ability to work in high pressure situations with tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude is a must for this role. Extremely level of confidentiality is expected. Must be able to work with a team.
* Must be enrolled in a college or university
* Must be currently enrolled in school for Human Resources or related field
* Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
* Must be proficient in Microsoft suite
* Must be 18 years or older
* Must be willing to submit to a background check
* Must be willing to submit to a hair drug test
* All other duties as assigned.
