Summary of Job Duties: Assists Vice President, Directors and other department personnel by performing a variety of administrative support duties. Work includes meeting planning and preparation, maintaining company records, preparing complex documents, and travel scheduling and coordination. Compiles data and prepares standard and custom reports with information necessary for financial reporting and decision-making purposes. Maintains certain confidential and sensitive information.
Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: High School and 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative capacity managing multiple projects and tasks; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualification 2: Ability to proofread and format correspondence and documents. Ability to prepare simple and complicated documents including designing/formatting presentations involving PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualification 3: Ability to read and comprehend simple and complicated instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Qualification 4: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to code bills correctly with the appropriate general ledger account numbers and cost centers.
Qualification 5: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have organizational ability to follow through and track a variety of activities.
Qualification 6: Ability to use a personal computer with proficiency in SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
