Job Description
We are seeking two commercial Carpenter Foremen to lead carpentry and drywall crews on job sites. This role is based in our Grand Rapids office.
Responsibilities
Serve as the onsite leader for all laborers and carpenters on specific assigned projects.
Adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Travel between job sites as needed.
Complete all jobs assigned on time and within budget.
Attend startup meetings with the superintendent and estimator/PM to establish labor and special order items.
Discuss the scope of work and job site conditions.
Conduct daily huddles and toolbox talks to plan and coordinate daily work.
Set goals for all team members and record work completed at the end of the day.
Essential Skills
Commercial carpentry foreman experience
Commercial carpentry experience
Proficient in working with all carpentry and drywall hand tools, mechanical tools, and sanding tools
Ability to read blueprints
Supervisory experience
Dependable, professional, and safety conscious
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Texturing and plaster experience
Ability to complete new commercial construction and remodeling projects
Ability to work independently
Team-first attitude
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
