The Charter Township of Shelby's Senior Center is now accepting applications for a part-time Bus Driver. Interested candidates must be available to work approximately 8-16 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00 pm. Applicants must possess a valid Chauffer License or Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement preferred. The hourly wage for this position is $19.39, no benefits.
Some duties associated with this classification include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect bus prior to use for the day
- Report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person
- Maintain and complete a log sheet for each day
- Prepare incident paperwork when necessary
- Provide transportation based on a daily schedule
- Assist in the office during downtime
- Fuel bus as needed
- Inspect bus at the end of the day
