This company has a decentralized IT model across it's divisions and plants. They have several small AI pilots happening across multiple plants and corporate departments. They are looking for a person who has great requirements gathering skills, people skills and the ability to translate technical jargon related to AI to useful feedback that can be used to share information amongst groups that will help further understand where BW is on their AI journey and how they can best scale things that are working well. The successful candidate will be a strong BA, Product Owner/Manager, Program Manager that can relate with various levels of leadership and management to understand how they are using AI and what business cases could be scalable.
This will be a hybrid role with the individual coming onsite 2-3 days/week in Auburn Hills.

Job Description: AI Adoption Specialist
Position Overview:
We are looking for an AI Adoption Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving AI adoption and innovation across the company. This role focuses on understanding AI trends, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with IT and business teams to implement AI solutions that address business challenges. This role will also involve supporting related technologies such as Power BI and RPA, ensuring a cohesive approach to digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Market and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about AI trends, opportunities, and key vendors. Understand the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
Regional Collaboration: Periodically meet with each plant business team across North America to identify current challenges and propose AI solutions to address them. Document and share successful AI pilots across plants to promote knowledge sharing.
Global Coordination: Work closely with the global AI team to share experiences, best practices, and lessons learned. Advocate for a unified approach to AI initiatives across regions.
Knowledge Management: Maintain and update a centralized knowledge base and template library for AI, Power BI, and RPA solutions.
Cross-Technology Support: Assist in managing Power BI and RPA initiatives alongside AI, ensuring alignment and efficiency across digital tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in technology, analytics, digital transformation, or related fields. AI, machine learning, or data-driven solutions experience is a plus.
Strong interest in AI, machine learning, and digital transformation. Prior experience in AI is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both IT and business team.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and propose innovative solutions.
Familiarity with Power BI, RPA, or related technologies is an advantage.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about AI and its applications in the automotive industry.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of AI vendors and solutions in the global market.
Experience in knowledge management or maintaining centralized repositories.
Ability to travel periodically within the North America region.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
