Description
We are hiring for a Legal Billing Clerk to join our team in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will be managing customer accounts, processing customer applications, and maintaining customer records with precision. This onsite Billing Clerk role offers a long-term contract-to-hire employment opportunity!
Responsibilities:
Streamline the billing process by coordinating with clients, attorneys, and team members
Handle disputes and the initiation of files to maintain smooth administrative operations
Create new cases in the accounting system with meticulous attention to detail
Generate and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Follow up with clients to acquire any required information
Maintain impeccable record-keeping of all transactions and interactions
Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, to manage billing functions and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
1+ years of billing experience, additional experience within the legal industry is ideal.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, is necessary.
Willingness to assist with various administrative and data entry tasks and projects.
Excellent Customer Service skills are essential.
