Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are looking to hire General Laborers to join our production team. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for various tasks including loading bags of materials, moving and stacking pallets, shoveling, cleaning the work area, and breaking up rocks. This position requires working outdoors and handling repetitive physical tasks.
Responsibilities
Loading bags of sand, slag, and other base concrete mix material into loaders to feed into tanker trucks.
Moving pallets on/off of trucks and stacking pallets of finished product.
Shoveling sand, slag, and other concrete mix.
Cleaning the work area.
Breaking up rocks.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively through an 8-hour shift.
Experience working in outdoor environments and comfortable working in all types of weather conditions.
Ability to bend, twist, and squat for the entire duration of the shift.
Capability to wear a respirator for the duration of the shift when needed.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Flexibility with shift changes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, construction, concrete, packaging, loading, production, and machine operation.
Candidates from a refrigerated/freezer environment will also be considered.
Ability to work without being on personal phones during the shift.

Work Environment
The work environment involves outdoor labor, handling heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions. The shifts are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday) and afternoons from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Overtime is variable. Employees will receive a respirator, coveralls, and are expected to dress appropriately for the weather. Work boots are required but do not need to be steel-toe. Punctuality is crucial, and use of personal phones during the shift is not permitted.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
