Our client is looking for a Software Test Analyst supporting multiple software development projects for the Department of Health and Human Services. The resource will act in a tester and analyst role for various in-flight projects. The resource will work in an agile environment to write and execute use cases, test plans and develop testing scripts for custom .NET web applications.

NOTE: Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green card holder in order to apply as this position is a potential contract to hire at the State of Michigan.
Candidates MUST be local at time of submission.NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Position will be hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence 2 days a week. Candidates must be available to interview onsite at the Lansing office.

Skills Required:
5+ years’ experience in the following:
- Experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others.
- Experience writing SQL, P-SQL queries.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion).
- Experience in build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management.
- Java and JavaScript
- Issue tracking and defect management.
- Generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
- Generating testing reports and metrics.
- Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
- Generating and acquiring test data.
Skills Desired – A plus to have:
- Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Provar, Katalon, etc.).
- Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module.
- Experience with Mobile App testing of iOS and Android applications.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc.
