Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The job function lies within the realm of the healthcare industry, and the successful candidate will be expected to perform tasks related to patient registration and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Registering patients for ER, inpatient, and outpatient services.
Assisting patients with the use of available technology.
Ensuring high-quality customer service is consistently provided.
Maintaining patient records and data with accuracy and precision.
Responding to and resolving patient inquiries in a timely manner.
Rotating between different locations as per departmental requirements.
Adapting to fluctuating work schedules based on the needs of the department.
Participating in training programs and continually updating job knowledge.
Performing other duties as assigned within the department. Requirements - Proven experience in the healthcare industry
Demonstrable skills in customer service
Proficiency in patient registration procedures
