Your Contribution As a Regional Security Expert reporting to the Head of Corporate Security, you will be responsible for implementing and driving the Global Security strategy in the region. You will act as the North America Regional Leader for MAHLE's Physical Security and Crisis Management programs. You will assist with the implementation strategies while utilizing industry standards, ISO, and best practices to mitigate risks effectively and safeguard our colleagues, visitors, offices, brand, technology, and assets in the North America region. * Management and oversight of NA & SA security programs * Provide site analysis for physical data center security specifications * Ensure compliance of Global Corporate Security directives in North America * Instruct and guide MAHLE's security policies, protocols, and procedures utilizing industry standards, ISO, and best practices * Plan and implement security related training and awareness Lead Threat and Incident Response concerns / issues * Oversight of physical security sections for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) certification as well as Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) * Plan, advise and direct security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property * Manage all security incidents and reporting processes within the North America Region * Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the design and management of security equipment installations and commissioning (Access Controls, CCTV, and Visitor Management systems) * Assist leadership in Crisis and Emergency Management for North America * Provide guidance and input to the America's Regional management in identifying and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks, vulnerabilities, and threats in regard to security and how it could impact operations Your Experience & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study such as Criminal Justice, Business, or Security or related field * 10 plus years of security related experience in manufacturing / R&D in a multi-site environment * Project and Program management, and Future budget forecasting * Knowledge of access controls, CCTV Systems, and other security countermeasures * Internal and external investigation experience * Hands on experience of security technologies and systems, and Active threat training * Proven track record of working closely with local and federal law enforcement agencies Our Offering We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
