Duties:
Design intuitive, attractive, utility-oriented interfaces that help solve customer problems with a thoughtful needs-based approach to design; work with an interdisciplinary agile team of Product Managers, Developers, QA Analysts and Data Scientists to concept, design and prototype data oriented digital products in a continuous cycle of build-measure-learn-optimize; effectively communicate strategic concepts verbally and visually with reference to rough sketches and high fidelity prototypes alike; champion “good design” and design best practices, and help cultivate design thinking within the Lab; coach junior-intermediate designers on project teams and assign work and/or interview prospective candidates; provide informed estimates, track changes and work - and be responsible for design excellence in the implemented product through exhaustive design QA.
Requires:
Requires a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Media and Communications, Information Studies, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, Digital Design, or a related field plus 2 years of related experience. Requires 2 years of experience with the following: Designing B2B data analytics oriented full-stack digital products from ideation to commercialization; Design and prototyping tools - including Adobe XD, Adobe CC Suite, and InVision; Designing and fielding user research and usability test studies with a strong skill base in User Testing, Journey Mapping and User Profiles generations; Agile product development with demonstrated experience as a product designer in an agile team; Designing complex data visualizations and interfaces alike; Presenting for working team and senior manager alike. Requires 1 year of experience implementing product design with front-end development code languages.
